Visit world's biggest spaceport - Baikonur cosmodrome

If you ever wanted to witness a spaceship launch “Country of Space Tourism” is providing tours to a Baikonur cosmodrome. From Baikonur cosmodrome ROSCOSMOS, the Russian space agency, provides launches of manned and unmanned spaceships (piloted by Americans, Russians) to an International Space Station (ISS). On 20th of April the Russian manned spaceship “Souyz Mc 04” was successfully launched from the cosmodrome. The crew of the ship consisted of Russian cosmonaut Fyodor Urchikhin and USA astronaut Jack Fisher and they are to replace former ISS crew.

Baikonur spaceport is now considered the world’s biggest and largest spaceport. It was founded on 1955 in Kazakhstan republic, which at that times was a part of Soviet Union. The first manned orbital flight performed by Yuri Gagarin on 12th of April 1961 was lifted off from Baikonur. After the USSR crumbling the Russian government leased territory of Baikonur spaceport. For decades Baikonur was a closed and secret territory for residents and tourists.
But the times has changed and now almost everyone can see the spaceport. We provide a unique opportunity to stand just 5 meters from the Souyz rocket, when its transported from the hangar. After it is verticalized and installed on the launching site, you will be able to witness its start from only 5 kilometers!

Tourto Baikonur will be great present for a true fans of technologies, space and stars!
